1969 El Camino SS

One incredibly mean looking and immaculate Chevy El Camino SS belonging to a member of the Reynosa Classic Car Club from Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Their car club brought several vehicles from Reynosa to the McAllen, Texas 2012 Palmfest car show.

"Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads!"

1967 Mustang Fastback

I was in such a hurry to take more pictures of this car that I accidentally opened up my camera before I rewound my film completely! Luckily this frame survived my mistake with only a small light leak on the right.

Corvette Sting Ray Convertible

1966? Corvette Sting Ray convertible in Rally Red.

Chevrolet Corvette C3

The 1972 Corvette was the last to carry these beautiful chrome bumpers. The 70-72 Corvette has always been one of my favorite vettes.

1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

Our previous Karmann Ghia find needed a lot of restoration work. However, this 1967 Volkswagen looked great with it's recent Quicksilver paint job. The owner also installed modern HID headlights.

1975 Chevy Vega Kammback GT Wagon

This 1975 Chevrolet Vega wagon was recently purchased from a seller in Austin, Texas through ebay. You might think that would explain the bright University of Texas orange but it's actually the original factory color. Just about everything on this car is original.

1951 Dodge Wayfarer Business Coupe

The Wayfarer and Meadowbrook  were trim levels for the original Dodge Coronet which was introduced in 1949.  Power for 1951 came from a 230-cubic-inch 3.8 liter flat-head inline 6 cylinder engine with 103 horses. This 1951 Wayfarer Business Coupe looked amazing in it's nostalgic sky blue paint.

*UPDATE* The owner of this car has decided to put it up for sale. If you are looking for a great looking '51 Dodge then email me and I'll pass along the owner's contact information.

VW Karmann Ghia Type 34

Do you recognize this particular Volkswagen Type 34? It's such a beautiful car but it will look even more amazing once it is fully restored. I'm sure there's an interesting story behind how it ended up in this South Texas lot. If you know the story then please email Valley Ride Styles so we can share it.
